This is our local, with Steve, Bob, and Ian always prepared to offer good advice and friendly service. Branchline had a huge range of British, American and Australian, with some European as well. The stock most guages including N, HO/OO. and even some O and G. Plenty of kits, accessories, catalogues, videos and an ever changing supply of 2nd hand locos and rolling stock.

A bit out of the way being located at Stratford in Victoria's Gippsland area. A small shop with a reasonable selection of new and 2nd hand locos & rolling stock. The shop also boasts a museum of Australian railway paraphernalia. Well worth a look if you're passing through.

Metropolitan Model & Hobby Centre

Metro Hobbies specialises in plastic model kits, radio controlled cars, steam engines, air brushes etc. It has a limited range of model rail scenic materials, but does is a good source of 1:72 scale Airfix kits for those wishing to model wartime British scenes.

The Railfan Shop

This is a specialist railway bookshop, stocking every conceivable magazine and publication on Austalian, Americam locos, with a good selection of British and some Euorpean as well. New lines as well as 2nd hand items in store. The store offers a magazine subscription service charging magazine cost plus postage to anywhere in Australia.

This is a two storey ship in Perth's Piccadilly Arcade. Bottom floor is mainly die-cast road vehicles (busses, cars, Dinki & Corgi etc). Upstairs has a very large model rail section with mainly British stuff, lots of 2nd hand items, lots of lineside accessories, scenicing materials and a bunch of 2nd hand books.
