HELP WANTED FOR A NEW PROJECT!

Do you have any photos of EVERSHOT station?

For some time now, work has been underway on a new prototypical layout project. The site chosen is EVERSHOT, a GWR small through station located at Holywell between Yetminster and Maiden Newton on the Westbury to Weymouth route.

Mixedtraffic.net will feature articles and updates on all phases of construction so you can follow our progress. In the mean time you may well be able to help us. Do you have any photos of EVERSHOT station?

If you do, you would be doing us a huge favour by emailing them through to tony@mixedtraffic.net. Thanking you in advance.

Site Traffic (to 25/05/08) : 2.455,790 hits and 75,326 visitors. (Note: this is not an active counter - figures are drawn from ISP statistics.)

Our Philosophy: MIXEDTRAFFIC.NET exists to encourage people of all ages to have fun with the model railway hobby. It's down to earth, functional, and offers bunches of information on such things as:

  • liveries and insignia for the different companies during different eras
  • information about locomotives and rolling stock
  • tips on layout design, scenery, tracklaying, loco maintenance
  • photo galleries and "how to do it" articles
  • links to modelling sites, manufacturers, societies and clubs, as well as to historical sites with even more useful information
  • a bunch of strange but true locos & load ideas plus interesting projects that prove once again that you can find a prototype for absolutely anything

You can also watch as several layout projects develop from design to exhibition stage, including a brand new S&DJR prototypical layout.

Feel free to dialogue with us on your own modelling experience. If you have any suggestions or submissions for the site, drop us an email.

In the mean time, we hope you enjoy surfing the site as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you.
